  Remember, you are shopping before the general public and you will be getting first pick from the best of the best! Volunteers also earn 70% of on their sold items. There are several ways to help. We want volunteering for Just Between Friends to be a fun experience and something that is a privilege.

  If you are someone who has extra time to give to the sale we have opportunities for 24 hour volunteers. With our new POS system and the new bigger building we need and appreciate our 24 hour volunteers.
  
  In return for your time, 24 hour volunteers earn 75% on their sold items, a special presale time (10am on Thursday August 27th) and special 50% off presale (7pm on Saturday August 29th).

  Guidelines for volunteers

  24 Hour Volunteers

  Use the automated scheduler to schedule your 24 hour volunteer times.  During consignor check-in (or 15 minutes prior to the presale if you are not a consignor) you will receive your gift certificate and presale passes (first dibs on ALL sale goodies and first shopping at the 50% off sale).  Thank you in advance for giving your time and energy!  See paragraph above for presale times. 
  

  8 Hour Volunteer Privileges
  Earn 70% & shop On Thursday August 27th at 12pm.
  Shop the 1/2 Price Sale before the public Saturday August 29th from 7:30-9pm.  
  
  4 hour Volunteer Privileges
  Earn 70% & shop early on Thursday, August 27th at 2pm.

  If you don't have time to spend at the sale, but want the benefits volunteers receive, maybe "bartering" is for you!  A barter is simply a trade.  It allows us to cut costs, keep you making the most money possible and your consignor fee to a minimum.  By helping out, you earn a presale pass to be one of the first to shop, and make 70% on your items!  All of the options are first-come, first-serve and will fill up fast.  Suggestions are welcome. Just click "want to barter" on the left to find out more.

  Presale Pass Information:
  To shop the volunteers presale, remember at drop off, you will need to see a volunteer at the Volunteer Information Table to pick up your volunteer presale pass. We will have the passes available during consignor drop off times, or 15 minutes prior to the presale if you are not consigning. Only one person per pass - no husbands, mothers, children, pregnant friends, etc. will be permitted to attend the volunteer presale without a pass.
  
  Consignor's will receive a pass to get themselves and 1 guest into the consignor presale at 4pm on Thursday the 27th.   If you need to come back to shop with your children, you may do so from 5-6:00 pm on presale day. First Time Moms and their guests will enter at 6:00pm, so we recommend having "consignor shopping with children" complete by this time.

  Bring any food or drink you might need during your shift, we are not able to supply food for 8 or 4 hour volunteers.  Wear comfortable, casual clothing and shoes. Do not leave your valuables in your car, lock them in your trunk or bring them in with you.  When you arrive please sign-in at the volunteer check-in table.
  

We always have places for anyone that has health issues or may be pregnant. Many jobs can be done sitting down so don't let that stop you--join the fun!
