I
share my life with my loving husband and business partner, Steve, our
daughters Emily (4) and Kara (almost 2), and mini schnauzer, Brutus. I
am grateful for a family that supports my interests! Career:
Software Engineer. I also work full time as a mom!
Why JBF?
I have always loved planning events and getting friends together and involving the community around me. There's nothing better than seeing a plan come together which has a positive impact on everyone involved. This is the perfect opportunity to be able to give back to the community especially with the the economy the way it is, to consignors and to shoppers.
My interests:
I enjoy working in the yard and watching things grow, I played volleyball for most of my life, succeeding to my highest level of play when we went to the final four in 1994 and 1995 (Central Missouri State University). Continued playing volleyball in many leagues and tournaments as an adult, until a stopping injury about 6 years ago. I also love to be involved with many arts and crafts.
| My JBF goals:
- Personally become more involved in the community
- Introduce Just Between Friends (JBF) to Northern Virginia and make JBF a household name.
- Allow families to generate extra money by selling gently used children and maternity items, and in turn allow shoppers to find great deals!
- Give back to the community by donating items to charity. One year goal:
The one year goal for JBF of Loudoun County is to double its gross sales and number of consignors participating from sale to sale.
