Tami Metzger Hi! I am the owner of the Overland Park and Shawnee/KC, KS Just Between Friends sales. My Family... I am a mom of three, Jamie is 7, Lindsey is 5 1/2, and Braden is 3 1/2. I have been married to my husband David for almost thirteen years.  I have an army of family support including my sister, brother, and both sets of parents whom I could not do without. Why JBF? I think JBF just makes sense! We parents invest so much money in the items our children need and many of these items are in great shape long after our children grow out of the clothes, grow tired of the toys, and grow beyond the equipment and furniture. Why not let other families purchase these items at greatly reduced costs and earn cash from these investments? Plus, JBF is a fun way to meet other moms in the area! In Today's Economy... As most of us watch our wallets closer these days, I know that more and more of us are looking for ways to care for our families and still make ends meet. JBF helps families get the most out of our current possessions and enables us to acquire the items we need for the future. My Experience... My background is in accounting.  I have worked as a controller for an awesome company in the Los Angeles area and now work part-time for my father-in-law, Dr. John Metzger, a behavioral optomitrist, handling anything related to the finances.  I became passionate about consigning a few years ago and am so excited that the Just Between Friends opportunity has opened up for me.  I feel honored to serve families in the Kansas City area, helping all of us care for our families and be great stewards of our resources.

My Goals... Spring 2009... I hope that Kansas City's community has benefited from two great JBF sale events including over 200 active consignors and serving more than 1000 families. Future...To have JBF Shawnee/Kansas City, KS be a household name among families with children 0-12, to grow between every sale, and  to be a positive influence to other women and mothers. First Thing's First... My family comes first, spending time with my husband and kids is my favorite thing to do.  I love to cook and I love bargains.
