Here in the North Bay, I help families navigate the constant cycle of kids outgrowing clothes, toys, and baby gear—without overspending or letting perfectly good items go unused or worse yet, head to landfill.

My name is Joan, and I get to bring Just Between Friends to our community twice a year. It’s something I truly love because it connects local families who want to save money, stay organized, and make the most of what they already have.

Consignment has always been part of my life—I grew up going to consignment shops and thrift stores with my mom, and some of my favorite memories are of finding those really great deals together. Now, I get to carry that tradition forward with my own daughter, and I still get just as excited about great finds for her.

My daughter loves to collect things she has outgrown for “mom’s event.”

Now, I help North Bay families turn the items they no longer need into extra income, and find everything they need for the next phase all in one easy, well-organized consignment event.

For me, it’s about more than just buying and selling. It’s about creating space at home, putting money back in your pocket, keeping items out of landfill, helping local non-profits, and helping families feel good about saying yes to what their kids need and want.
