FROM A LIVING ROOM SALE TO A NATIONWIDE MOVEMENT

Back in 1997 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a simple idea sparked a movement. A small group of parents needed a way to clear out their kids outgrown items and save money on new essentials. The solution? A living room sale where families could buy, sell, and support each other in one place.

What started as a casual gathering quickly grew into something bigger. Families loved the great deals, the extra cash, and the sense of community. Fast forward to today, and Just Between Friends has helped over 1 million families save money, declutter, and connect. All while making a difference in their local communities.

These are in-kind donations made to hundreds of charity partners across the country who support a variety of efforts, including adoption agencies, refugee families, foster closets, children’s literacy organizations, and more. Sellers have the option to donate their unsold items to local charity partners, creating a ripple effect of kindness that continues to support families in their community.

Each event helps to keep up to
21,000 POUNDS of clothing & 12,000 POUNDS of plastics

out of local landfills.
