Hi, I’m Tara!
If you’re a parent, you’ve probably had the same thought I’ve had at least a hundred times: “Didn’t I just buy that?”
One minute my six-year-old’s jeans fit perfectly, and the next he’s blown the knees out of them from playing so hard. Between clothes, shoes, toys, books, and all the gear that seems to come and go with every stage, it can feel like kids outgrow things faster than we can keep up.
That’s why I fell in love with Just Between Friends.
I first discovered JBF in 2021 through my sister-in-law and quickly became a shopper, consignor, and team member. I loved being able to find everything my son needed in one place—from great-quality clothes and shoes to toys and books—all while staying within budget. As a parent, it felt like a win. As someone who hates seeing perfectly good items go to waste, it just made sense.
When the opportunity came to become the owner of JBF Flint, I knew it was something I couldn’t pass up. I was looking for a way to make a difference in my community while creating the flexibility to put my family first. JBF allows me to do both.
My hope is that every parent who walks through our doors feels welcomed, appreciated, and excited about what they find. Whether you’re shopping for the next size up, clearing out what your kids have outgrown, or doing a little of both, I want you to leave feeling proud of the deals you scored and the value you found.
