Hi, I’m Megan!
I get it, raising kids is expensive! That’s why I wanted to bring Just Between Friends to my community—to provide a way for families to take great care of their growing kids by shopping and selling!
I’m a working mom of 4 (a girl, twin boys, and a sassy Frenchie named Winnie), and wife to Aaron. I’ve been married to my husband Aaron since 2006. We met in college and I think it’s true what they say, opposites attract. Aaron loves and watches all sports but only participates in golf. He’s our boys’ football, lacrosse, and basketball coach; those who can’t do teach, right?! I on the other hand, unabashedly hope and root for “both teams to just have fun.” Aaron is an extrovert while I’m an introvert. He loves to go-go-go, and I absolutely protect my peace by scheduling down-time. He happily encourages me and my “crazy ideas,” executing projects around the house and what not.
My Family
We live in Livonia, MI which is only a hop-skip-and-jump away from where I grew up in Novi, MI. We are fortunate enough to have built our house in a great subdivision with a close little community. We moved in when the boys were 18 months old. In our free time we love to go on adventures!! I’ve always tried to focus our money and energy on experiences with our kids vs things. When we’re laying low, we love to be in our postage-stamp of a backyard with the blow-up pool, slip n’ slide, and gazebo bar and TV. We are the neighborhood party house 😀
I’ve followed my local JBF on Facebook for a while but never really had the time or energy to commit to selling until Spring of 2022. WOW! What an amazing event! I pocketed $500 and only spent $300 – that’s $200 ahead even after I outfitted my kids for the summer and fall seasons that year. I was HOOKED!
Fun Fact: I’m a podcast junkie! Mostly interested in the true crime genre, but I do listen to just about everything! If you need a recommendation I’m your girl. Alternatively, if you know of one I should listen to let me know….but chances are I’ve probably already devoured it!

Each JBF sale is a community effort and we are so thankful for all of the helpers who make it happen! Sellers who are able to help at the sale get to shop earlier and earn more!
