Hi, we are Cindy Farner & Carrie McFarland

Cindy: I heard about Just Between Friends (JBF) from a coworker when I was pregnant with my first child. I immediately fell in love with the bargains, since frugal is part of my DNA! Both kids are being raised on JBF treasures. Initially, I was a shopper, then I decided to consign and help at the sales. I am a huge JBF fan and now, here we are, helping to grow Just Between Friends events in the Tri-City Michigan area!

Carrie: The more I learned about the consignment event concept the more I wanted to be able to take part in such an amazing resource to the community. Investing in my family and the community is what motivates me. My favorite thing about JBF is that there are so many ways a JBF sale supports local families and I am excited to bring this opportunity to the area.

Foster Families Navigation & Resource Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting foster, adoptive, and kinship families throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region. Through its resource centers, the organization provides essential items such as clothing, shoes, hygiene products, school supplies, beds, car seats, and other necessities to help children and caregivers thrive. They also offer support groups, educational opportunities, and guidance to families navigating the foster care system. By connecting families with practical resources and a strong support network, they help reduce barriers that can make fostering and caregiving challenging. Their work strengthens families, improves outcomes for children in care, and builds a more supportive community for vulnerable youth. The organization relies on donations, volunteers, and community partnerships to expand its impact and ensure families have access to the resources they need. Is it free to get in and open to the public?

Yes, we are open to the public. General admission is $3 on our public sale days, but you can get a free ticket online.

How can I shop early?

The Presale gives shoppers the opportunity to shop before we open to the public. Free presale tickets are given to our sellers, team members, expecting parents, and hometown heroes (teachers, first responders, adoptive/foster & military families). If you work or sell with us, you get to bring a guest with you to the presale!

Can I shop early even if i’m not one of those people mentioned above?

Yes! We have Platinum, Gold, and Prime Time tickets so that you can shop before we open to the public. Experienced JBF shoppers will tell you it’s 100% worth the ticket price to shop early, which means you get the best selection and the best deals!

How often does this sale happen?

The sale only happens 2-3 times a year. You can’t afford to miss it!

What kinds of items will be at the sale?

Anything for kids & baby! Clothing & shoes sizes newborn to teen and maternity. Baby gear (strollers, car seats, swings, highchairs, bouncers – you name it!), nursery furniture, indoor & outdoor toys, books, games, feeding & bathing items, bedding, room decor, sports equipment, electronics, costumes and so much more at prices up to 50-90% off retail!

Do I need a ticket to shop?

JBF is not your everyday shopping trip. It's your once-a-season chance to stock up on everything your growing kids need for the next six months. With so many families making the smart choice to save $$$ during the JBF sale, we use tickets to manage flow during each day of the event. Grab tickets for you and a friend today!
