About JBF

North Idaho

Here in the North Idaho community, I help families navigate the constant cycle of kids outgrowing clothes, toys, and gear—without overspending or letting the value of those items go to waste.

I’m Tyona Albrecht, a local mom and grandmother who is proud to host the Just Between Friends event in our community twice a year!

Like so many parents, I know how quickly kids outgrow things—closets fill up, toys get forgotten, and money gets tied up in items that still have so much life left. I’ve felt the frustration of constantly needing the next size while wondering what to do with everything my family no longer needed.

Finding a better way to buy and sell our kids’ items changed everything for our family. It created more space in our home, helped us make the most of what we already had, and made it easier to find quality items without paying full price.

Now, I get to help families do the same. At Just Between Friends, families can turn outgrown items into cash and shop for what their kids need next—all in one organized, community-driven event.

At the end of the day, it’s about less clutter, more money back in your pocket, and helping families feel confident saying yes to what their kids need.

Maddie's Place

Maddie’s Place is a 501(c)3 non-profit, free-standing recovery nursery for babies experiencing withdrawal due to prenatal substance exposure. We provide high quality, holistic, multi-disciplinary medical and non-medical care for infants with prenatal substance exposure, including neonatal substance exposure (NAS) and wraparound support for their parents/caregivers. Our comprehensive model of care brings babies safely through their withdrawal, facilitates early bonding whenever possible, offers hope and support to parents struggling with substance abuse, strengthens families, improves early intervention, and helps mitigate the long-term effects suffered by children with in-utero substance exposure.

Is it free to get in and open to the public?

Yes, we are open to the public. General admission is $3 on our public sale days, but you can get a free ticket online.

How can I shop early?

The Presale gives shoppers the opportunity to shop before we open to the public. Free presale tickets are given to our sellers, team members, expecting parents, and hometown heroes (teachers, first responders, adoptive/foster & military families). If you work or sell with us, you get to bring a guest with you to the presale!

Can I shop early even if i’m not one of those people mentioned above?

Yes! We have Platinum, Gold, and Prime Time tickets so that you can shop before we open to the public. Experienced JBF shoppers will tell you it’s 100% worth the ticket price to shop early, which means you get the best selection and the best deals!

How often does this sale happen?

The sale only happens 2-3 times a year. You can’t afford to miss it!

What kinds of items will be at the sale?

Anything for kids & baby! Clothing & shoes sizes newborn to teen and maternity. Baby gear (strollers, car seats, swings, highchairs, bouncers – you name it!), nursery furniture, indoor & outdoor toys, books, games, feeding & bathing items, bedding, room decor, sports equipment, electronics, costumes and so much more at prices up to 50-90% off retail!

Do I need a ticket to shop?

General Admission tickets are $3 per person at the door. Cash only.

What can I buy?

Shoppers stock up on everything their growing kids need at our twice-a-year events. Find great deals on children’s clothing, shoes, gear (strollers, swings, highchairs, bouncers - you name it!), kids furniture, indoor & outdoor toys, books, games, feeding & bathing items, bedding, room decor, sports equipment, electronics, costumes and so much more at prices up to 50-90% off retail!

Can I sell my kid stuff?
