About JBF

Rochester

My love for JBF started with Facebook. After learning I was going to be a grandma from my biological child, I started searching Marketplace to find the things she would need. JBF started popping up in my feed, so I went to my first shop at Maple Grove. My first reaction was “This is genius!!!”

My family includes my husband, Daniel. He has two kids (our oldest and youngest), as do I. We call his kids the bookends and mine the contents. His son is 40; then my oldest daughter, Pamela, is 39, married with no kids; then my daughter, Jaqi, is 38 with our four step granddaughters and one granddaughter (12, 11, 8, 7, and 4 months); and Dan’s daughter, Melissa, 34, married with our two grandsons, Ethan (4) and Colin (1.75).

What drew me to JBF were four key factors. First, this is green as we are reusing items and not disposing of them. Second, the tariffs for out-of-country manufactured items have already been paid, so there is no additional tariff cost. Third, this is cost effective today as prices for consumer goods skyrocket. Fourth, this is a business focused on helping families not only save money but also benefit children’s charities.

Is it free to get in and open to the public?

Yes, we are open to the public. General admission is $3 on our public sale days, but you can get a free ticket online.

How can I shop early?

The Presale gives shoppers the opportunity to shop before we open to the public. Free presale tickets are given to our sellers, team members, expecting parents, and hometown heroes (teachers, first responders, adoptive/foster & military families). If you work or sell with us, you get to bring a guest with you to the presale!

Can I shop early even if i’m not one of those people mentioned above?

Yes! We have Platinum, Gold, and Prime Time tickets so that you can shop before we open to the public. Experienced JBF shoppers will tell you it’s 100% worth the ticket price to shop early, which means you get the best selection and the best deals!

How often does this sale happen?

The sale only happens 2-3 times a year. You can’t afford to miss it!

What kinds of items will be at the sale?

Anything for kids & baby! Clothing & shoes sizes newborn to teen and maternity. Baby gear (strollers, car seats, swings, highchairs, bouncers – you name it!), nursery furniture, indoor & outdoor toys, books, games, feeding & bathing items, bedding, room decor, sports equipment, electronics, costumes and so much more at prices up to 50-90% off retail!
