That’s where Just Between Friends comes in. 
Hi, I’m Annette Maskrod, and I have the privilege of bringing this incredible resource to families in Springfield each season. When I first discovered a better way to handle the overflow of outgrown items back in 2007, it completely changed how our family approached buying and selling. As a family of seven, we’ve been able to say “yes” to so many needs—and even a few wants—because of it.

Now, I get to help other families do the same. 

Through one organized, community-driven event, you can turn what you no longer need into cash and find everything your family needs next—all in one place.

It’s about creating space in your home, putting money back in your pocket, and giving your family more freedom to say “yes.”

Is it free to get in and open to the public?

Yes, we are open to the public. General admission is $3 on our public sale days, but you can get a free ticket online.

The Presale gives shoppers the opportunity to shop before we open to the public. Free presale tickets are given to our sellers, team members, expecting parents, and hometown heroes (teachers, first responders, adoptive/foster & military families). If you work or sell with us, you get to bring a guest with you to the presale!
Yes! We have Platinum, Gold, and Prime Time tickets so that you can shop before we open to the public. Experienced JBF shoppers will tell you it’s 100% worth the ticket price to shop early, which means you get the best selection and the best deals!
The sale only happens 2-3 times a year. You can’t afford to miss it!
Anything for kids & baby! Clothing & shoes sizes newborn to teen and maternity. Baby gear (strollers, car seats, swings, highchairs, bouncers – you name it!), nursery furniture, indoor & outdoor toys, books, games, feeding & bathing items, bedding, room decor, sports equipment, electronics, costumes and so much more at prices up to 50-90% off retail!
All early access shopping times require a ticket.  On general admission shopping times, you will not be turned away if you don’t have a ticket, but we prefer to have all shoppers claim a free or paid ticket.  This works like an “RSVP” so that we can plan better for staff and manage the line to lessen wait times.

No matter what your needs or life situation, we have an option to help you easily sell your gently loved items.  

  • DIY seller - Use our free online barcoding site to price your items.  You’ll earn 60%-75% of the prices you set.
  • Valet seller - Have another experienced seller prep & price your items for you. You’ll earn 45%-50% of the prices they set and you approve
  • JBF Now - We can direct buy certain items from you.  Earn 25% of retail (30% if JBF bucks), but you’ll get rid of it NOW!
  • JBF Text to Take - Help another local mom make some money.  Text for a porch pick up of ANYTHING you want to get rid of.  We will send an experienced seller to pick it up.  They’ll donate anything that cannot be sold to a local charity and tag the rest to earn money for her family.  What a way to pass a blessing forward!

At JBF Springfield, you’ll find over 140,000 gently loved items priced 50%-90% off retail.  We have anything you could need for your child birth through teen - clothing, shoes, accessories, books, games, media, toys, infant items, outdoor toys, riding toys, infant gear, bedding, room decor, furniture, and so much more!  

We do a surface inspection of every item that comes in, and our safety/recall specialist checks everything for recalls before we start selling items.  We also offer a testing area so that you can open and check items more thoroughly before purchase.

There are so many ways to be involved with JBF - shopping and selling is just the beginning!  We have a team of over 150 local moms and dads that help host the event.  Any seller can work just 4 hours to earn more on sold items.  The more you work, the more you make!  Highly experienced sellers can become valet taggers or team leaders.  We are also always looking for brand ambassadors and business sponsors to help get the word out about the event!  Reach out to Annette for more info!
